Since I was little I've said I wanted to be a wedding photographer! Like I look back and kinda laugh at my young self because I can just remember so clearly, every time someone asked what I wanted to be when I grew up I would reply with such enthusiasm and determination... not like I want to but I will be. And I just shot my first wedding! If you know me on a personal level you know I've said this like 50 times already! But its because it makes me so happy to accomplish something that really means a lot to me and goes way back like that!
There was many moments over the past few weeks when I was like who am I? And I just want to take a quick second to point out that I've only been doing this since November! This is only my 4th shoot! FOURTH! And I'm going to take another second and say that I have 5 sessions this month! FIVE! I feel so accomplished and old! I'm just a baby! No! I'm NOT a baby anymore! I'm 20! Happy birthday to me by the way(; So yeah, did my first wedding.. feeling real good 'bout it... realized weddings are a ton of work... but still love it... Bring me another!
It was a beautiful day! Beautiful bride {or as the girl I nanny, who was constantly over my shoulder while I edited, called her "the wedding girl"} Beautiful couple! Beautiful reception! See I just love it all so much! I'm so happy for these two! It never gets old seeing someone you've know for a very long time get married! And I just want to thank them for taking a chance on me and letting me be their photographer!
{Warning this is going to be a long post!}
Mr. and Mrs. James everyone!
